Council Plan 2025-2029
We’re planning for our next Council Plan, to be adopted in 2025, and we're inviting all community members to provide input.
The Council Plan, which incorporates the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, sets out the key priorities that Council will focus on over the four years of its term.
Community input is crucial in helping Council decide where to focus resources and efforts to best support the local community.
With economic pressures impacting Council's financial sustainability, we must ensure we deliver the projects and priorities that matter most to our community, while managing our budget responsibly.
Given the extensive consultation we’ll be taking over the next few months to develop the new plan, we’ll also be using your feedback to help shape the draft 2025/26 Council budget, as well as help inform our long-term financial plan and our Asset Plan.
Get Involved
From now until 20 December 2024, we’re calling on all community members to participate in a range of engagement opportunities. The more people we hear from, the more we can ensure that the Council Plan reflects the true needs and aspirations of our community.
We're also consulting on a number of service plans and our new Tourism Strategy.
If you have an interest in these specific services, please complete the relevant surveys which you will find at the end of the Council Plan Survey. We would love to hear from you.
