FAQs
What is the Community Vision?
The Community Vision describes the social, economic, cultural, and environmental aspirations our community has told us it wants for the future of Indigo Shire.
The Vision was first adopted by Council in 2021, and over the past few months we’ve gone back to our community to find out if the vision statements continue to reflect the aspirations and priorities identified three years ago.
We held four drop-on sessions across the Shire and conducted an online survey which attracted 61 responses.
How will Council use my feedback?
Your feedback will be used to shape the next Council Plan 2025-2029.
All feedback will be reviewed to identify community priorities and themes. These will be written up in a Findings Report and made publicly available.
We will also review the feedback as part of the development of our draft 2025/26 budget, Long Term Financial Plan and our Asset Plan.
