Friday 7 March Update
Works on the Boorhaman East Road Bridge upgrade project began this week, with installation of the temporary side road and bridge well advanced.
Our local contractor, Murray Valley Piling is aiming to complete installation over the weekend and once in place, the temporary structure will carry road traffic to enable the removal of the existing bridge and culverts, before construction of the new longer span bridge commences.
Please be aware that reduced speed limits are in effect around the worksite and on the temporary bridge.
Weather permitting, construction is expected to take approximately six to eight weeks.
