Stanley's planning context is unlike any other township in the Shire. It sits entirely within the Farming Zone, which limits the types of development and land uses that would normally be associated with a growing township. The extreme bushfire risk restricts the expansion of residential development, and the Special Water Supply Catchment area, combined with the absence of reticulated sewerage, places real constraints on how Stanley might change.
Stanley's future needs to be planned thoughtfully, and your local knowledge is essential to getting this right.
