Cricket nets officially opened - October 2026

The new Bendigo Bank Indoor Cricket & Sports Centre at Baarmutha Park was officially opened, marking an exciting milestone for local sport in Beechworth.

The facility is already providing a year-round training space for cricketers of all ages and abilities, supporting both junior and senior participation. Thank you to the Beechworth Wanderers Cricket Club, Bendigo Bank - Community Bank Beechworth & District, the Victorian Government, Cricket Victoria, and the many volunteers and supporters whose contributions helped bring this important community project to life. We look forward to seeing the facility enjoyed by the community for many years to come.
