About this project
We're commencing our annual program to resheet a proportion of the unsealed gravel roads across the Shire.
Why is this project being undertaken?
We routinely maintain around 1000km of unsealed gravel roads across the Shire. The 2024/25 program will see works completed on a number of roads in the east and west of the Shire, totalling approximately 20km. The roads will be graded, roadside drains will be improved, and new gravel material will be laid and compacted to improve driving conditions.
How is it being funded?
These works are funded through our Capital Works Program.

Works will commence on Monday 18 November and will take about three weeks to complete. During this time there won't be any road closures, but there may be some minor disruptions to the usual traffic flow.
