  • The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DECCA)

Following this process, we invited broader community input to ensure the draft plan represented the community's vision for future of the site.

What did we find out?

We had 29 responses to our survey, with 100% of respondents supportive of the overall proposed plans. Respondents indicated that they were most supportive of the proposed amenity improvements, followed by pontoon and jetty developments, vegetation and wetland and beach safety improvements.

What happens next?

The final plan was presented to Council in December 2023. It was then placed on exhibition. No submissions were received during this time and it was adopted by Council at its February 2024 meeting.
